Located on the highest hill of the commune of Cour-Cheverny and of a superficy of abount 25 hectares, the vineyard of la Desoucherie enjoying a good exposure on a silica and clay soil with little flints on the surface produces excellent wines in three denominations:

CHEVERNY, (White, Red, Rosé)

Unique white wine in this appellation 100% romorantin variety
Usually dry, lively and mineral, the low harvest and the sun of 2003 brought it richness and intense pleasure, gilded glints, scents of ripe fruits reminding of honey and wattle.

Round and silky in the mouth.

A delight today, but also in 15 years.

Le grand R

"Le grand R"
Cour-Cheverny sec

Unique white wine in this appellation: 100% Romorantin grape variety.
It is a dry lively white, fleshy, pale yellow with ripe fruit flavours and a hint of acacia flower.
After one year to 18 months in the bottle, the aromas develop and tend towards honey and floral notes, mainly linden blossom and sometimes orange blossom and jasmine.
This is a long term cellaring wine, it will keep for 8 to 10 years, and is delicious when served with grilled fish, shellfish, and goat’s cheese.

Winemaking in pellicular maceration,
this wine is characterized by its limpidity,
its brilliance which makes it very pleasant

Summer wine, salmon color, much of freshness.

Best with mixed grilled and cold meal

This red wine associates the freshness and the structure of a wine which can age
it gives pleasure and delight.
Litheness and roundness meet in this 2003 millésime.

Gamay and Cabernet,
vinified in oak barrels
full,strong, aromatic
with fine and quite molten tannins.
It is a very harmonious wine which can age

Elaborated with Menu Pinot and Chardonnay,
This extra-dry wine smooth in bubble with flower flavours of acacia and green apple.

Well balanced,
istrong, long and harmonious finish
To taste with aperitif or dessert at 6/9°


Cremant de Loire

This sparkling wine is made from pinot noir grapes which give it lots of subtlety, it has particularly fine bubbles.
It is best enjoyed chilled, as an aperitif or just in the shade on a warm summer’s day.

Serving temperature : 6 – 9 °C (45 – 48°F).
